Autopay FAQ’s

 

What is Autopay?

  • Autopay is a billing service that allows Members and MLS Users to keep a credit or debit card in an encrypted file for automatic payment of Annual Dues and MLS Fees.

 

How do I sign up for Autopay?

  1. Visit www.ccaronline.com and log in.
  2. Click the Membership menu and select Account/Pay Bill.
  3. Under Account Information select “Update Your Credit Card Here.”
  4. Click “Add a New Credit Card” or “Modify card on file.”
  5. Enter card information and select your autopayment preferences and click Submit.

 

 What can I pay for with Autopay?

  • You can register Autopay for Annual Dues and/or MLS Fees.

 

Can my card be saved on file without enabling Autopay?

  • Yes. You can save a card on file for future use without signing up for Autopay.

 

When will my card be charged?

  • Cards will be charged on the invoice due date or the preceding business day if the due date falls on a weekend or holiday.
    • For MLS fees, this is the day before the quarter begins. E.g. Second quarter begins on April 1st – Autopay will process on March 31st or the preceding business day.
    • For Annual dues, Autopay will process on November 30th or the preceding business day.

 

Can I cancel Autopay?

  • Yes. Autopay can be cancelled at any time through your Member Portal. 
    1. Visit www.ccaronline.com and log in.
    2. Click the Membership menu and select Account/Pay Bill.
    3. Under Account Information select “Update Your Credit Card Here.”
    4. Click “Modify card on file.”
    5. De-select the autopayment options you would like to cancel and click Submit.

 

Are there extra fees for signing up with Autopay?

  • No. You can join or cancel Autopay free of charge at any time. MLS Fees and Annual Dues will be billed at the normal rate.

 

Can I get a refund after my card has been charged via Autopay?

  • No. You will need to discontinue Autopay or resign membership BEFORE Autopay billing is processed.

 

What payment methods are available for Autopay?

  • Debit and Credit Cards can be kept on file. CCAR accepts AmEx, Discover, Master Card, and Visa.

 

How do I update a card on file?

  • Saved cards can be updated, modified, or removed through your Member Portal.

 

What if my card expires?

  • Saved cards can be updated, modified, or removed through your Member Portal. Expired payment methods need to be updated BEFORE autopay billing is processed.

 

What if the payment is rejected and/or declined?

  • If your payment is declined, CCAR will notify you via the email on file. You will then need to update your card information and make a manual payment to ensure continuation of services.

 

Is Autopay mandatory?

  • No. This service is optional. You may sign up or cancel at any time through your Member Portal.
